As a young and important member of the Panerai timepiece family, the Piccolo Due Luminor Dur collection is the brand’s first collection dedicated to women. This series is in the same vein as Replica Panerai’s classic Luminor series, Submersible series and Radiomir series. One of the unique features of the new watch is that it is dominated by a monochromatic design as a whole. The polished stainless steel case with a diameter of 38 mm echoes the color of the sandwich dial harmoniously, which is unique in this series.
The new Piccolo Due Luna Rossa features a matte white dial with dark grey Super-LumiNova™ applied to the numerals and hour markers and green luminous display; silver hour, minute and small seconds hands are also covered Luminous coating. Soft colors are more visually soothing, avoiding strong color contrasts while ensuring clear reading.
In order to pay tribute to the official cooperation and deep friendship between Panerai and its sponsorship record challenger for the 36th America’s Cup, the Italian Luna Rossa fleet, the white Saffiano leather strap of the watch is specially decorated with the name of the fleet and Red striped logotype. The neutral tones of the watch are suitable for any of Panerai’s straps. The wearer can easily change the strap through the watch’s strap quick release system. By matching straps of different colors, textures and materials, the Piccolo Due Luna Rossa can express a variety of styles, express a multi-faceted personality, and easily switch between formal and casual.
The new watch is equipped with the P.900 self-winding movement, which was completely developed by Panerai. A small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock and a date aperture at 3 o’clock provide a 3-day power reserve. The movement has a slim design and fits snugly into a compact 38 mm diameter case made by the Panerai Manufacture in Neuchâtel.
The new Piccolo Due Luna Rossa is water-resistant to 3 bar (approximately 30 meters) and features a polished stainless steel trapezoidal clasp.
