TAG Heuer’s relationship with brand ambassador Ayrton Senna began in 1988, when Ayrton Senna won his first F1 world championship. The hour and minute hands and the applied hour-markers are inlaid with Super-LumiNova, which ensures excellent reading even in dark environments.
With a sealed case back, this watch houses the Calibre 16 self-winding chronograph movement. The movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and provides a 42-hour power reserve at full strings. The caseback is engraved with the silhouette of Ayrton Senna wearing a racing helmet, the Replica TAG Heuer logo, and the words “Senna Special Edition”.
