Back in 2012, Replica Hublot has partnered with Arturo Fuente cigars to release a limited-edition watch to celebrate the love of craftsmanship and to support charitable activities to help the people of Dominica through the Fuente Family Foundation. Now, the two parties have joined hands again to launch the new Big Bang Unico Arturo Fuente Ceramic Watch (Model: 421.CI.0190.VR.OPX21), paying tribute to Carlos A. Fuente Sr., the legendary founder of Arturo Fuente cigars.
Hublot, with the assistance of Fuente family designer Manny Iriarte, incorporated various iconic elements into the design of the Big Bang Unico Arturo Fuente ceramic watch. The 44 mm ceramic case is engraved with a tobacco leaf pattern that dances to the rhythm of the mountain wind, one of the emblematic patterns of the Fuente family. The Roman numeral hour markers on the dial are taken from the clocks that have historically appeared on the Fuente family coat of arms. The crown lion logo at 9 o’clock represents the brand’s status as a supplier of Spanish court cigars.
This watch is equipped with the HUB1280 automatic flyback chronograph movement with a power reserve of up to 72 hours. The case back is engraved with the words “Big Bang Limited Edition” and the limited number. In addition, the caseback features the Fuente cigar logo and the words “Edición de homenaje” (Spanish for “Tribute Edition”), as well as Carlito Fuente Jr.’s message “Our Father, Our Friend, Our Hero.” father, our friend, our hero).
The Hublot Big Bang Unico Arturo Fuente ceramic watch is limited to 100 pieces and is presented in a lacquered wooden gift box that can also be used as a humidor for cigars.
